Mr. Ak focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and cross-border transactions and financings with particular experience in consumer and tobacco products, energy, financial services, high-tech manufacturing, information technology, mining, pharmaceuticals and real estate sectors.

Mr. Ak’s experience also includes advising local and multinational companies, private investment groups, joint ventures, commercial banks and other financial institutions on domestic and cross-border matters.

Mr. Ak also represents clients in sovereign state and investor arbitrations as well as in international commercial and construction arbitrations under ICC, UNCITRAL and ICSID rules.
